Arrival and departure

Please contact Sue Wustefeld (01962 732 422; mobile: 077 0833 1132; help@justasksue.co.uk) with details of your expected time of arrival so that she can meet you at the property, welcome you and show you round. You can arrive at the house from 2:00 pm but please note that we cannot make provision for late-night arrivals. The house must be vacated by 10:30 am on the day of departure. Again, you should liaise with Sue Wustefeld for the hand-over.

 

How to get there

By road: come off M3 at junction 11 signed Winchester S & W; follow signs to St. Cross and continue to follow signs to City Centre and St. Cross for about a mile; continue straight on towards Winchester past the BP garage on your right. With the Screen cinema on your left, turn right at Green Man pub, down the hill, take second left down Symonds Street ensuring you have the tall flint wall on your right. At the junction at the end of the flint wall go straight on along Minster Street (Little) to The Old Vine rear entrance. King's Head Yard is on your left beyond the florist's, up the brick steps.

By public transport: regular train service from London Waterloo. There are taxis at the station.

Southampton international airport is 9 miles away.

 

Parking

A Visitor's Parking Permit will be made available to you on arrival. Parking is permitted free of charge with this permit in designated streets around the property.

 

Cleaning

We check and clean thoroughly between lettings but we provide cleaning equipment and materials to help guests clean and tidy up after themselves. If your stay exceeds one week the house will be cleaned and the linen changed at the end of each week at no extra cost.

 

Terms and Conditions

On making a booking you accept the following terms and conditions and your contract will be with P. Williams, King's Head Yard, Winchester, SO23 9HB. A contract comes into existence when your booking has been accepted in writing and a formal receipt issued for the deposit. You are liable for all bank charges. The contract is for the hire of a holiday home for holiday purposes only.

Smoking and pets are not permitted in the property.

All prices are per week for the house as described and equipped.

You are responsible for the security of the property. You are also responsible for any damage or loss that occurs during your stay. We cannot accept any responsibility for theft/loss or damage to your belongings or for any personal injury however caused.

It is understood that the total number in your party shall in no circumstances exceed the number on your booking form. The signatory of the booking form takes full responsibility for all members of his/her party. If in our opinion any member of your party behaves in a way prejudicial to the well-being of others we will re-take possession of the accommodation forthwith. We reserve the right to refuse any booking application.

We reserve the right to gain access to the house for urgent repairs or maintenance at any time.

We cannot take responsibility for any matter outside our control such as injury or loss during your holiday caused directly or indirectly by breakdown of equipment, or Act of God, or nuisance caused by neighbours.

If circumstances beyond our control (e.g. death, illness, serious damage to the property, squatters) prevent us from making the house available we will refund you immediately in full and final settlement.

We have made every effort to ensure the accuracy of all our publicity material but we cannot accept responsibility for any errors or omissions.
